This performance is the work of Martin John Cooke, writer and director from Yorkshire, England. He has been a performance poet since the time of punk. Martin has shared the stage with all-time greats like Pattie Smith and John Cooper Clark; he was once a regular poetry contributor BBC5 live.

As distant ancestors painted woolly mammoth bellowing outside their caves, an evening of English poetry paints the flickering shadows of modern musings on concrete cave walls like digital updates of primeval wonder.
The term 'dumbwaiter' was coined because kitchen lifts were found in the basement where the waiters were silent and unseen.
